REMINDERS:
City offices will be closed Monday, May 27th in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday.
The next regularly scheduled City Commission Meeting is Tuesday, May 28th at 7:00 pm in the Commission Chambers inside City Hall located at 1376 E Ninth Street. The Agenda can be found here.
Wednesday, May 29th is the deadline to have items placed on the next meeting agenda which is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 7:00pm. A request to be placed on the agenda can be found here.

As part of the Gus Macker/Armed Forces Day Weekend Celebration, WAshington Ave will be closing from 1st Street to Mountain View beginning Friday, May 17th at 7 am. Please be sure to make plans and seek alternate routes.

may only water on: TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS & SATURDAYS
· All outdoor watering must take place BEFORE 9 am and AFTER 6pm
(This conserves water by reducing evaporation)

CITY ANNOUNCES FAIRGROUNDS ROAD OPEN
Beginning at Noon TODAY, Fairgrounds road will be open and run from Scenic to White Sands. We are excited that the completion of this road will allow for additional access to area parks, businesses and also Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center.
Additionally, the thoroughfare will create more convenient routes of travel for many drivers. Thank you for your patience during this project and drive safe.

FIRESIDE CHATS WITH THE CITY MANAGER
There will be no MAY Fireside Chat, as we will be diligently working on our annual budget. However, they will return on June 10th. And moving forward Chats will be held on the second Monday of each month from 5:30 - 6:15 pm. Please disregard the meeting time listed in the City profile as it is incorrect. There is no May chat. Thank you and we look forward to continuing this series with our new City Manager, Jim.

There was an emergency water break in the 100 block of New York and crews are turning off water between 1st and 2nd st on New York in order to fix it.
