Department Description: The Human Resources Office administers personnel management, human resources development, worker's compensation, benefit programs, employee assistance programs, safety programs, and is the official custodian for the City's official personnel records.
The Human Resources Office provides services to the City's departments in the areas of, but not limited to: recruitment, selection, classification, compensation benefits, records, performance appraisals, labor issues, supervisory and employee training, federal labor law legislation, and special employment programs.
The Human Resources Office ensures that the City workforce is in compliance with state, federal, and local personnel laws, rules, and regulations.
