Adopt an Area Program
Adopting an area is a very rewarding and easily maintained program. It consists of an individual, group or business participating in keeping their spot, tree, or mile litter and weed free. In honor of their efforts they are given recognition for the community by an "adopt-an-area" sign. The sign can represent whatever or whomever the participant(s) desire. They can be used to promote a business, honor a loved one who has passed away, or just give an individual a sense of community pride with their own name. This is a program that affects the entire community positively: The participating individual, group or business in the beautification projects gives the community a pleasant area to appreciate, and in exchange the community acknowledges their efforts.
