Make the "2016-2017" school year fun, exciting and educational by sending your child to the "After School Frenzy" at the Alamogordo Family Recreation Center.

August 15, 2016 - May 26, 2017

Base Fee: $38.00 per week*

*    Additional fees charged when program is expanded to accommodate ‘no school’ days - half and/or full.

*    Prices and dates for all programs are subject to change. Registration is on a first come basis - spots are not held or guaranteed. Payment must be made at time of registration. 

*    Drop-In Registration is also available for half and/or whole days if space is available.
Drop-In Rates: $23.00 / half day and $30.50 / full day.

ASF Hours:

After School - 6:00 p.m.

7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Full Days)

Our after school program is for children in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. All children are provided transportation to the Recreation Center. Children need to be picked up by 6:00 p.m. at the latest. Children will participate in various educational and recreational activities such as: outdoor games, sports, fitness and exercise, nature hikes, movies, swimming, gym games, arts and crafts, talent shows and dances. There are some short field trips on full days. A snack is included, but children must bring their own lunch during full ASF days.

 

 

CAMP COTTONWOOD (Summer Camps)

Make the "2017" summer a blast for your child with fun, exciting and educational weekly camps and field trips at the Alamogordo Family Recreation Center.

June 5, 2017 – August 11, 2017

(Camp Closed on 4th of July)

Ages: 6 – 12

Camp Cottonwood Hours:

            Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Registration Begins:

April 26, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.

At Camp Cottonwood, children will enjoy a variety of energetic recreational and educational activities: indoor and outdoor games, sports, fitness/exercise, nature hikes, movies, swimming and field trips guaranteed to keep that summer boredom away! Children will be placed in groups, based on their age, and supervised as they build lasting childhood memories. The first 100 kids to register will receive a Camp Cottonwood Shirt. Summer breakfast and lunch programs are provided by Alamogordo Public Schools. No summer breakfast and lunch program July 31 - August 11, 2017. Children must eat breakfast before arrival and bring their own lunches on these days.

Includes 10 weeks at $80.75 + a one-time $15.00 administrative fee

(Week #5 discounted to $64.60 – as there is no program on the 4th of July)

$80.75 per week thereafter

First week payment includes $80.75 weekly camp fee + a one-time $15.00 administrative fee

Wild 'n Winter

December 26 - December 29, 2017

Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Ages:  5 - 12

Fee: $91.20 per child

Registration Begins:  November 29, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.

A winter day camp program for children while they wait for the New Year to arrive! Children will participate in recreational and educational activities including arts and crafts, games, gym time and outside activities. Lots of Wildness! A snack is included, but children must bring their own lunch.

 

SPRING FLING

Hours: April 3- April 7, 2017

Ages: 5 - 12

Fee: $114.00 per child

Registration Begins: February 22, 2017 at 9 a.m.

A spring day camp program set up to give your children something to do during Spring Break! Children will participate in recreational and educational activities including arts and crafts, games, gym time and outside activities. A snack is included, but children must bring their own lunch!
