Beautification Projects
The spring and summer seasons are times of recreation and leisure for most- but Keep Alamogordo Beautiful takes advantage of these sunny days to Beautify Alamogordo! Beautification projects include landscaping, planting of trees and other greenery, de-weeding, and many more constructive ways to improve the City.
During these seasons volunteers and student summer hires, along with the coordinator and interns of Keep Alamogordo Beautiful work hard at beautifying as many areas as time permits. In the past we have completed: Alamogordo City Hall, The Alamogordo Recreation Center, Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce, Panorama BLVD Medians and Circle, Fire Station Number 5, Public Housing Area's Learning Center, the entrance to Desert Foothill Trail and others!
There are many more projects on our "To Do" list and if you have any suggestions or ideas, feel free to share them with us at 439-4250, but for now just sit back and enjoy this summer while we beautify the community one project at a time!
