Department Description: The Community Development (CD) Department is charged with quality in construction and community infrastructure.  CD manages quality in private development through the City's development regulations.  CD's divisions handle construction ordinance review, zoning and subdivision enforcement. 

Mission Statement: The Community Development Department is committed to providing our services for the betterment of the citizens of Alamogordo. We provide these services with honesty, integrity, foresight, compassion, fairness and a commitment to excellence for the benefit of the general public, both today and in the future.

Services Available: The Community Development Department has the capability of providing information on water and sewer main lines, survey plat information, and FEMA certification.  Copies of maps can be obtained for $0.50 / Sq. Ft.
