Bio

I moved to Alamogordo 14 years ago when my husband, Aaron, was stationed at Holloman AFB.  My career included marketing and sales with IBM, marketing for skilled nursing facilities and working for NPR stations in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Wichita Falls, Texas.

Community involvement is important to me – involvement enables me to ‘keep my finger on the pulse of the community’ and better understand the needs of Alamogordo.

Our community is full of dynamic, talented, busy people – people involved in community projects, non-profit organizations, companies, agencies, and institutions – people who make our community such an interesting and great place to live.  I host a weekly, two-hour radio show, “Community Corner” on KRSY AM 1230, in which I get to highlight the personalities and events in and around our community.

In my free time, I enjoy taking advantage of our beautiful mountain scenery, working in my yard, keeping up with politics and news and spending time with my husband and our three dogs, Mouse, Max, and Jaxson.
