🌟 2025 Junior Zookeeper Summer Camp 🌟

Get ready for an adventure! During Junior Zookeeper Camp, kids will spend the week exploring the zoo, meeting amazing animals, and discovering what it takes to care for them. Campers will dive into hands-on activities, engaging learning sessions, and behind-the-scenes experiences that teach them all about wildlife conservation and the incredible animals that share our planet.

This camp is all about sparking curiosity, inspiring future animal caretakers, and creating memories that last a lifetime!

Registration Update

The 2025 Junior Zookeeper Summer Camp will be open in early May 2026. 

🐾 Camp Sessions

Ages 6–9

  • June 1-5

  • June 8-12

  • June 22-26

Ages 10–12

  • June 29-July 3

  • July 13-17

  • July 20-24

⏰ Camp Schedule

Camp runs 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day.
On the first day, please plan to arrive 15 minutes early so we can get everyone checked in and ready for fun!

Junior Zookeeper required forms to be completed and submitted before camp start date. (Registered campers only.)

📢 Important Information for Registered Campers & Parents

Welcome to Junior Zookeeper Camp! To help your camper have the best (and safest!) week possible, please review the important details below.

📍 Where to Meet

Camp meets at the pavilion near the zoo entrance.
We’ll be using the entire zoo as our outdoor classroom, so please make sure your child is prepared for plenty of adventure and time outside!

🎒 What to Bring Each Day

Please send your camper with:

  • Ample water (hydration is important!)

  • Clothes that can get dirty — we’ll be exploring!

  • Closed-toed shoes (required for safety)

  • A parent-provided snack (no shared or group snacks, please)

  • Sunscreen applied before arrival

➡️ Please keep toys and personal items at home.
Campers are responsible for their own belongings, and we want to keep distractions to a minimum.

🚗 Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Drop-Off

  • Begins at 9:00 AM

  • Campers must arrive by 9:15 AM

    • Late arrivals may not be admitted for the day

  • A staff member will meet your child at the entrance gate.

Pick-Up

  • Pick-up is promptly at 12:00 PM (noon)
