Please check our calendar for a current schedule of all our programs.
Traditional Story Times
Held every week, story time will start with a few stories, songs, and finger plays, then end with a related craft. As always, we are working on pre-reading skills, even though it isn’t, we hope, obvious.
Middle School and High School Meet-ups
For people in sixth through twelfth grade; teens are an age group that wants to hang out and have fun with their friends, but is starting to look towards their future as well. Programs are a combination of fun (movies, crafts, etc.) and ‘adulting 101’ (interviewing for a job, cooking basic meals, and so on). Activities usually include snacks. Due to the requirement of background checks for adults in contact with minors, parents are not allowed to stay in the activity room, but are welcome to remain in the library.
Family Programs
Programs for the whole family are offered regularly throughout the year. Builder's Club is on Saturdays (check the calendar for dates and times) and gives people the opportunity to build with Legos®, Duplos®, and their imaginations.
Fall and Winter holiday family programs are also held each year. With fun themes, activities, and crafts holiday programs are a must! These events are fun, popular, and always well attended.
