[ARCHIVED] AFRC Facility & Access Changes

AGE ACCESS CHART

Implementation of these changes will begin in April 2023. The new policies will be strictly enforced in May 2023. Information on age restrictions and access (including the waiver form) will be available online beginning April 3, 2023. Below is the AFRC’s age access chart that shows facility access requirements for minors. If you have any questions, you may contact us directly at 575-439-4142 or afrc@ci.alamogordo.nm.us.

Effective March 1, 2023, 

  • Children 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult while utilizing the facility. 
  • Youth 12-17 must have a waiver signed by their parent/guardian on file at the AFRC in order to utilize the facility without an adult present. Starting May 15, 2023, children without a completed waiver form on file will not be admitted to the facility without an adult. No Exceptions!
  • Proof of age (i.e., birth certificate, school ID, driver's license) will be required if requested.
