I need to be fingerprinted. Where do I go and what is the cost?
  • Currently, the Alamogordo Police Department does not provide digital/electronic fingerprint submissions to the general public.  If digital/electronic fingerprinting is what you need, please go to the Gemalto website to register and pay.  After you are registered, you will go to Print Plus, located at 901 Texas Ave #B to be printed.
  • For standard ink hard card fingerprinting, please come to the Alamogordo Police Department, located at 700 Virginia Ave. between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.  There is generally less wait time between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday.
  • Fingerprints are done for a charge of $2.10 per card.  We do not supply the cards.  Whoever is requesting that you be printed, generally will supply the cards.  If not, you can go to the FBI website and print out cards on your own card stock paper using this link: FBI Standard Fingerprint Form
  • When filling out the cards, please print legibly and use BLACK INK ONLY.
